MEASURE DOG'S CURRENT BUCKLE-TYPE COLLAR AS DIAGRAM SHOWS

HOLE DOG WEARS IT ON

Stretch out dog's current collar flat and measure as diagram shows to HOLE YOUR DOG WEARS IT ON
Pick the size from the drop-down menu that is closest to that measurement... that will be the middle hole on new CCC collar
IF YOUR MEASUREMENT FALLS BETWEEN SIZE CHOICES: leave default drop-down choice and tell me size when pay

IF DOG WEARS A NYLON "SNAP-TYPE" COLLAR:

add 1" to end-to-end measurement (WITH plastic "caps" but W/O the "prong" on one end that fits inside other end)
Pick the size from the drop-down menu that is closest to that measurement... that will be the middle hole on new CCC collar
IF YOUR MEASUREMENT FALLS BETWEEN SIZE CHOICES: leave default drop-down choice and tell me size when pay

IF DOG WEARS A SLIDING MARTINGALE-TYPE COLLAR, CHOKE CHAIN, OR HAS NO COLLAR:

add 1" to a snug yet comfortable neck measurement where/how you want collar to fit
Pick the size from the drop-down menu that is closest to that measurement... that will be the middle hole on new CCC collar
IF YOUR MEASUREMENT FALLS BETWEEN SIZE CHOICES: leave default drop-down choice and tell me size when pay

IF YOUR DOG IS STILL GROWING:

order 1" bigger than current measurement (ie: CURRENT measurement will be the SMALLEST hole)
IF THAT MEASUREMENT FALLS BETWEEN SIZE CHOICES: leave default drop-down choice and tell me size when pay

CUFFS WILL HAVE AN INSIDE CIRCUMFERENCE MATCHING DROP-DOWN MEASUREMENT CHOSEN

FYI:

My collars are @ 1" smaller in INSIDE CIRCUMFERENCE than flat measurement to hole (except tiny sizes of 6-11 which are @ 1/2" smaller). This INSIDE CIRCUMFERENCE should correspond to a snug yet comfortable neck measurement...

In most cases I put 5 holes 1/2"-3/4" apart (depending on size) in sizes 14-26. Smaller sizes of 8-13 will have 3 holes 1/2"-3/4" apart...

Sizes listed in drop-down menu are the ones MOST APPROPRIATE for each particular style/width. NOT ALL COLLAR STYLES ARE AVAILABLE IN/APPROPRIATE FOR ALL SIZES. However, there ARE exceptions, so if you don't see the size you want listed, email the breed/size/weight of your dog so we can determine if the collar you want would be appropriate...

Sometimes I've only listed collars UP to a certain size because they cost significantly more to make in bigger sizes and I have to charge a little more. Again, email...
